Well, I had a feeling someone was gonna mention about people leaving with a legit reason that would be negatively affected by this. If that's the case, I suggest this then:
- The number of points added when leaving increases depending on how many times the player leaves within a certain time frame. The first time a player leaves s/he will get no points added but if s/he leaves a number of times within say an hour of playing, the points will increase per leave.
Here is a table for example:
first leave = 0 points
second leave = 1 (0+1) points
third leave = 3 (1+2) points
fourth leave = 6 (3+3) points
etc...
Once the player had stopped leaving games and about say 6 hours passes, the increments will reset to zero, allowing the player to leave a game with no points added.
- The amount of points subtracted from the title when player stays in a game follows the same pattern in reverse. The first game he will lose 5 points, the next he will lose 6, then 8, then 11, etc.
- Also, I should had noted earlier, this title is account wide rather than character based and the title can't be displayed to prevent people from showing it off.
Of course, I'm ok with the idea of just scrapping this whole idea and just use the same idea that World of Warcraft uses for their "deserter debuff" which prevents players from re-entering a pvp battleground for 15 minutes. I'm not too big on copying an idea from another game though, hence my suggestion of a title instead.

Yes, it's a game. JUST a game. As far as hitting leavers...what about this case? You start Ft Aspenwood. 5 guys from a guild/alliance decide they don't want to do it(gotta go bugger or whatever), and the three of you are left. So are you saying those three have to sit through the whole battle or suffer a penalty? If so, you need to also reward those who stick it through to the end. Otherwise you are penalizing the whole group for a few.
Anyways, it doesn't happen to me enough to matter. Maybe if I played it for 6 hours in a row it might, but usually it might happen once.

this is just insane, people leave for good reasons and bad reasons, but theres always a reason. real life, bed time, work, whatever. those who leave because of rage is not a huge precentage. maybe in pugs its a lot but who pugs these days anyways. if this does get added into game, your just giving a reason those who do rage to rage more, and those who rage and dont want the title to just turn off thier modem then turn it back on.

A few problems...
1) You dont always know if a person is leaving with no good reason. They might get cut off, or have something important come up.
2) This would be a title I assume with a max limit? None PvP players would exploit it to get a max title.
